High-cost Medical Expense Benefit

Kougaku Ryouyouhi (High-Cost Medical Care Benefit System) is a refund you can receive after paying a high-cost medical expense at a medical facility. In order to receive a medical refund, you need to apply for a certificate called “Gendogaku Tekiyo Ninteisho.” Please present this certificate at a hospital/clinic reception desk with your health insurance card.
