Financial Support for Welfare Medical Expenses (Marufuku)

To qualify for the medical welfare system called “Marufuku” in Japanese, one of the following conditions must be met. Under the medical welfare system, qualifying individuals can be provided with financial aid for medical expenses. If you believe that you qualify for this system, an application must be filed. Note that the certain terms and conditions will apply to each applicant.

• Children aged between 0 and 9 years old
• Children in Elementary and Junior-high School
• People with a Severe Physical or Mental Disability
• Single Parents Raising Children under 18 Years Old
• People Aged 65 to 75 with a Low Income or a Disability
