Procedures at a JP (Japanese Post) office

Opening a bank account or transferring money can be completed at a JP office in the same way as you do at a bank.
Before you change your address, you are advised to submit a moving-out notification (Tenkyo Todoke) to your nearest JP office.This notification enables you to have all future mails sent to your old address delivered toyour new address for one year without any handling charges.
